I recently returned from the 30DChome Coming Home Conference held at the Hard Rock Hotel in beautiful San Diego, California, May 21-23, 2010.

For those of us watching from afar, it felt like we didn’t hear anywhere near enough from the attendees at the latest Ed Dale Coming Home Seminar in San Diego.

Lisa’s Magnificent Mics
OK, not exactly mine alone – I share them with a group of other voiceovers.
When we started the studios this was possibly the most expensive piece of equipment that was bought, as a good microphone can make all the difference. It’s a Neumann U87 and, if I remember rightly, it cost us a heluva lot of money at the time:
