I’m sure some of you are still not convinced about the concept of building and developing an online persona. Some of you still think it involves some deception or fabrication.

The rise of social media has spawned endless “experts” and courses offering to make you a “Social Media Celebrity“. These are essentially aimed at helping you create a social media persona and use that “fame” to achieve success in your chosen field.
But for many of you, the idea of becoming a celebrity is a major turn-off:

Sitting on the fence will not make you a market leader.
In order to build a core group of raving fan followers you are going to have to “stand” for something, and as a result against something too. You are not going to please everyone…and nor should you want to.
