(Sorry, I just couldn’t resist making a hypey-type headline out of it -- lol)

This week I’m going to introduce you to a nifty little tool called Google Translate.

Why do I like this tool? Because this past week it really DID help me to make a 5-figure sale to a customer in a foreign land, and it didn’t cost me a penny!

50+ years ago, when my father started his business building and selling harpsichords, the internet didn’t even exist. He had to use traditional print advertising, a typewriter and snail mail to reach his prospects.

Things have changed…just a bit! Now we can put up a webpage, get it to the top of Google with the right keywords, and the prospects find us from all over the world.

In this particular case, our customer was from France. He didn’t speak English. And we don’t speak French.

Check out the video to see how it all worked out!

Cool tool! I’ve always been using Babel Fish. I never even knew Google had a translation software. Thanks for the informative video! :) I’ll use Google Translate from now on.

Barb would never say, but I will – Her customer focus and willingness to go the extra yard resulted in her French customer sending her a Valentines day email with virtual roses.

Very sweet, but also very telling on how building a relationship with your customers and getting to the human side is imperative these days if you want to succeed in your niche business.
