Google Profiles: Claim Your Name on Google

Just a quick video about Google Profiles. These now appear at the bottom of the first page of results when you do a name search. You should definitely claim your profile and own that position on Google as soon as possible.

If you don’t like to be too public with your information you can change the settings so that only those you choose can see certain information.

Thanks Lisa… I’ve got my Profile up and running. One tip: You need to fill out as much information as possible in order to get your profile viewed. Google will not show 1/2 done profiles.

I swap between Flock and Firefox at the moment. My Flock is totally tricked out but that can make it slow too.

Hey Lisa, thanks for the reminder. I had made an effort to grab my profile a while back, but after checking, I had not filled in enough info for Google to consider it eligible to be featured.

So thanks for the reminder, my profile is now updated and I’ve reclaimed my slice of Google :)

    Cheers
    Phill
