When you first start on Twitter one of the biggest questions going through your mind is “what do I say? what do I Tweet?”

This is one area where traditional media seems to get it totally wrong (OK, there are plenty of other areas too). They view it as a place where people just send messages about what they had for breakfast or when they are walking the dog.

Twitter is so much more than that, and there are plenty of different ways you can use it and things you can Tweet about. This video offers just a smattering of ideas to help you get started, as well as suggesting some advice on achieving a balance between self-promotion and providing value.
