Photo Friday (01): Workspaces

9 January 2009 by Lisa 857 views 10 Comments

Earlier in the week, Allison explained our plan to introduce specific events to our blog that occur every week.

Friday is now officially Photo Friday!

How does it work?

We pick a specific simple subject for the photos and post our own on the blog. We would love you to post your own related pictures and add your links to them in the comments section below.

What’s the point?

We hope this will give you the opportunity to get to know us better and for us to learn more about you in return. Real community comes from sharing and making yourself a little vulnerable to your fellow community members. We are game, hope you are too!

Photo Friday (01): Workspaces

Our first Photo Friday features our workspaces. None of us have ever admitted to being tidy (in fact, we are quite vocal in our dislike of cleaning and tidying), so feel free to show us up with your beautifully ordered workspaces.

Barb’s Workspace

Barb's so-called workspace

Lisa’s Workspace(s)

I’ve actually included 2 workspaces. My home desk and the desk I use at the studios. As you can see I am a lot more respectful and tidy when it is a shared office ;-)

My home workspace

My home workspace....

...and the slightly tidier studio desk

Allison’s Workspace

I have MUCH better things to do than clean house

When I say UNTIDY.... I MEAN it

Much more organised at work

Much more organised at work

So, now it’s your turn. Post your pics and add your link to the comments section…

You think that is untidy? Try my temp office http://www.kyte.tv/ch/75086/308854 – I wonder if another machine will help?

Wow! That’s a lot of machines. What do you use them all for?

Thanks for sharing. Glad to know we have competition in the messy stakes!

Some say I’m torn between Mac and PC – I say I’m a mega geek and I need it all!

My server farm is not included in the picture :-)

You’re very organised Vince (although I would have guessed this if asked). What about when you travel – how much do you take with your then?

Just two laptops – PC and Macbook.

I’ve got them both in a backpack and I effectively take my office with my everywhere.

I’ve gone with the 13″ macbook rather than the macbook pro’s because of the size, and to be honest the new macbook is properly powerful. Also the air just isn’t (relatively) small enough to justify the price and speed trade off.

I think Vince has so many machines due to the fact that his gun is so close.

I just try to use the Delete button when someone bothers me. we have 4 computers but, we also have 3 people that use them. I don’t have many extra’s to shoot up. Anger management class has helped lower my repair expenses. ;)

I have a “real” office that I go to twice a week that is much more spacious & organized. But I much prefer working here :-)

I can see not much drunken twittering would happen from the ball. Lucky the wireless laptop can be operated from a reclining position… lol
